How to sell your jewelry?
Once the appraisal is done, the choice is yours:
Direct purchase
We make you an offer. If it suits you, we buy the jewel on the spot and you are paid the same day by instant bank transfer.
Consignment
We present your jewel to our collectors and handle the entire sale. It is often the option that best enhances the value of your jewelry.
Auction
For certain jewels, the auction room brings together the most enthusiasts. We choose with you the most suitable auction house, and negotiate the fees on your behalf.
And your gold?
A jewel that is broken or too damaged to be resold as such still keeps the value of its gold. We buy it by weight, at the day’s rate.
Appraisal request
A few photos and a few words about your jewelry are enough for a first opinion. We will reply to arrange an appointment at the Passage Molière. You can also reach us on +33 6 61 50 13 75.
Your questions, our answers
For a direct purchase, you sign a contract and are paid the same day, by instant bank transfer or by cheque. Proof of identity and bank details will be requested.
Consignment allows time to find the right buyer. A contract sets the length of the consignment and the sale price. Your jewels remain your property, insured and kept in a safe. We present them to collectors, in the showroom and on the major jewelry platforms. As soon as the sale is made, we pay you the agreed amount, and you may take back your jewels at any time.
For certain exceptional jewels, the auction room gathers the most attentive collectors. We then accompany you to Drouot, with a partner auction house.
All types of antique and vintage jewelry: rings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, bangles, cuffs, earrings, parures, medals, cameos, intaglios… We buy signed jewelry from the great Houses (Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, Chaumet, Bulgari, Buccellati, as well as Boivin, Lacloche, Lalaounis or Zolotas), designer creations (David Webb, Marina B, M. Gérard, Hemmerle, Suzanne Belperron…) and jewelry set with precious stones. We do not buy loose stones. Gold and coins are covered on a separate page: selling your gold jewelry.
No. At the end of the appointment, you know the value of your jewelry and we make you an offer, which you are free to accept or not. You may also entrust them to us on consignment or sell them at auction at Drouot, through our partner auction house.
Family jewels, inheritance or estate: it is best to show us the whole collection. We tell you what deserves to be sold as jewelry, what is worth only its metal and what is worth keeping. For a division of an estate, we also provide a written appraisal.
